FTN MISR FOR ENERGY undertakes its validation and verification activities with impartiality.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY is responsible for the impartiality of its validation and verification activities and does not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY monitors its activities and its relationships to identify threats to its impartiality. This monitoring includes relationships of its personnel. The mechanism FTN MISR FOR ENERGY uses to monitor impartiality is its annual impartiality meeting, where FTN MISR FOR ENERGY Managing Director reports on matters relevant to impartiality to the impartiality committee member who are independent of operations, and they provide feedback and guidance.

If a threat to impartiality is identified, FTN MISR FOR ENERGY eliminates or minimizes its effect so that impartiality is not compromised.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY top management is committed to impartiality.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY promotes impartiality by having personnel different from those who carried out the validation or verification responsible for independent reviews and decision making on the issuance of opinions or reports of factual findings.

Should FTN MISR FOR ENERGY provide validation and verification to the same project proponent, FTN MISR FOR ENERGY would consider any potential threat to its impartiality from this circumstance and manage the risk accordingly. FTN MISR FOR ENERGY understands this risk to exist primarily when the subject matter is validation and verification of a project, and not when a responsible party that is an organization or product owner includes forward-looking statements in the scope for verification.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY does not offer or provide both consultancy and third-party validation/verification for the same statement from the same client.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY does not offer validation/verification services to clients or potential clients whose statements FTN MISR FOR ENERGY has helped to formulate through the provision of consulting services.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY does not market validation or verification services in any way that links them to the consulting activities of any organization.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY will take action when it is made aware through a complaint or other means of inappropriate links with or announcements by any external consultancy organization stating or implying that validation or verification would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if FTN MISR FOR ENERGY services as a validation/verification body were used. FTN MISR FOR ENERGY will not state or imply that validation/verification would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if a specified consultancy organization were used.

FTN MISR FOR ENERGY will take action to respond to any threats to our impartiality arising from the actions of other persons, bodies or organizations. This includes the actions of those bodies to which validation/verification activities have been outsourced.
